A primitive stone planter, dating back to the early part of the 19th century, possibly earlier.  Crafted from rugged sandstone, the irregular, organic shape offers a beautifully weathered appearance, with an original patina of moss and lichen that gives the piece an established, timeworn look.

The natural organic shape provides an excellent backdrop as a garden feature, the shallow trough holds water and could be used as a bird bath or water feature around a pond areas.  Despite its age, this sturdy stone planter is in excellent condition, ready to grace your garden or home with a distinctive charm.
