A primitive stone planter, dating back to the early part of the 19th century, possibly earlier. Crafted from rugged sandstone, the irregular, organic shape offers a beautifully weathered appearance, with an original patina of moss and lichen that gives the piece an established, timeworn look.
The natural organic shape provides an excellent backdrop as a garden feature, the shallow trough holds water and could be used as a bird bath or water feature around a pond areas.
