An imposing 1970 film prop ladder by maker Stephens & Carter, stamped L.F.S (London Film School).  In good solid condition with nice wear and paint.

Originally designed and used as a lighting and camera holder, cross brasses are purposely built at different levels to provide lighting adjustment options, 5 cross brasses one side and 4 cross brasses the opposite side.

Notable filmmakers from all over the world studied at the London Film School during the 1970s and 80s and this surviving prop ladder is a wonderful piece of modern history.
