An outstanding 19th Century solid cast phosphor bronze alter cross in the form of Fleur-de-lis (often used to depict Mary or the Holly Trinity).  Dating to circa 1880’s, this aesthetic piece is beautifully crafted with elegant knurled detail, inset with milk glass roundels and a large faceted red glass cobochon.

Inscribed with the Christogram IHS being the monogram symbolizing Jesus from the Greek abbreviation of the name ΙΗΣΟΥΣ.

Standing at 2ft in height, this makes an uniquely decorative relic of the highest quality.
