A wonderful 19th-century figured walnut bobbin side table encapsulated the timeless elegance of period furniture. Constructed from mixed hardwoods with a beautifully figured walnut veneer, the table features charming bobbin legs which are inset to create visual interest

The veneer top has a superb character with figured walnut, a fruitwood border inlay and contrasting cross grain veneer, the aged patina further adds to the time worn character, with some historic repairs and minor losses.  The central stretcher join the side bars which house the delicate turned feet which almost appears like a tiptoeing ballerina.

The table’s design is both functional and artistic, with a compact footprint that makes it ideal for various settings—whether as a charming accent in a living room or a practical surface in a hallway. The subtle curves and proportion reflect the period craftmanship.

In excellent sound condition, having been through our workshop inspection.  The piece has been carefully cleaned to retain the aged time worn patina that gives the piece its unique authenticity.
