A beautifully made 1960s leather swivel chair by notable Swedish designer Arne Norell for Vante Møbler AS.  A well crafted piece with heavy chrome base and high quality leather with hand stitching.  Originally a dark reddish brown, the leather has faded to this wonderful, almost burnt orange colour which gives the piece a fantastic look and character.  Having sold a few Arne Norell chairs, this is certainly one of the most unique colours we’ve seen.

This high back version is very comfortable with soft leather arm supports on a sturdy chrome metal base.  the chair is in excellent order, there are some age related scuffs to the leather, especially around the back but this gives the chair a nicely aged patina and great character.  The swivel base is in excellent condition with a smooth action.  The chrome is also in excellent condition.

A lovely high quality mid century designer piece.
