A superb original Bank of Drawers from London Jewellery Quarter, late 19th Century piece full of character. Great colour and size with good variation of drawer sizes. Original Brass handles with original brass label plates.
The unit is double sided with narrow adjustable shelving on the back so could double up as a handy room divider. A quality well crafted piece with beautiful dovetailed joints. Pine carcass with Mahogany fronted drawers.
An exceptional, charming piece.
The piece is in very good sound condition, some age related scuffs and marks, some of the drawer handles have some dents and wear, one drawer handle appears to be slightly different to the others so may have been replaced at some point in its long working life. Shelves measure 47cm (18.5″) wide x 17cm (6.75″) Depth, with adjustable height.
